No point in talking about Warrior stance dancing to enable Charge when it’s about to become a basic Warrior skill. With Mists of Panderia incoming, this blog will be about the MoP tanking experience. I’ll also do a series on each tanking class – Paladins, Warriors, Druids and the brand new Monk Brewmasters. I’ll cover tanking for beginners, looking at the common toolkits that all tanks have, how to setup your UI and keybinds, add-ons, and tanking your first instances. It’s about how to learn-to-tank – the fundamentals. It’s not about end-game tanking, min-maxing, heroics & raiding. This blog is to help you start the World of Warcraft tanking journey. You have to know how to play before you get into that first dungeon, otherwise a lot of dying is going to be happening. There’s no opportunity to fumble around and learn as you play.
You’re the pointy end of an assault on forces unknown, leading hastily assembled teams of fellow adventurers, and you have to know what you’re doing.
